A good quick stop on a bike ride. We didn't take the time to eat. There was a notice about selfservice which some ignored, one be obnoxious about her wait. The drinks were refreshing and much needed.
We had reserved a table and we were the admitted guests! Since it was so cold we had to put on our jackets and of course the food got cold very quickly. But when we came, we weren't even sitting down and were already asked what we wanted to drink. We felt like we should leave quickly. The schnitzel was good, the salad tasted like ready-made sauce.
We celebrated my birthday there on Saturday (yesterday) and were provided with drinks and very good food very courteously and quickly. Drinks for the beer garden are ordered at the bar and brought to the table. The portions were large and beautifully prepared. There was even a pretty flower arrangement for the birthday child on the table. I really enjoyed that. The children have already made reservations for the next bigger party. The little ones were out and about the whole time in the beautiful mill full of discoveries + at the source. (Spare stockings or rubber boots are helpful) I found the area around the old historic mill to be idyllic and beautifully located. Reservation makes sense. It was a vacation day for me. Thanks to the team at Johann Adams Mill. Up soon. LG B.K.
Unfortunately, our food left a lot to be desired, the salad was not fresh and unfortunately not recommended.
The service was friendly and we got our money back without any problem.
The outdoor area could be made much more attractive, which is a shame because the area is really very beautiful.
Cash only. Outside on the terrace it is self-service, you order drinks and food at the counter (remember the table number!), take the drinks to the table and the food is then brought to you.
Everything is very tasty and freshly prepared. The restaurant is located directly on the premium “Officer’s Path” hiking trail and is conveniently open all day.
Delicious food in the beer garden in the ambience of the historic mill. The children thought it was great, we were full and it was really delicious. I also like to order at the counter if there are no staff available at the moment. Everything came very quickly! Thanks!
First of all I would like to point out that there is only medium water. That alone makes me sad. The salad is definitely worth every penny and the sauce makes the salad a culinary work of art. Upon request, the steak was perfect medium rare and delicious when paired with the pepper cream sauce. (Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo) the fries were crispy but unfortunately a bit too oily for my taste. The sauces for the fries were standard. Ketchup and mayo. Both out of the packaging. The schnitzel was also very tasty but I preferred the steak even though it was definitely higher priced. The ice cream is homemade and a
Extremely tasty. We recommend.
We had a great meal with three adults for less than €50. It is not a high-end kitchen, but it is excellent value for money. The cheese spätzle were particularly tasty.
Friendly service and generous portions. Absolutely great!
The restaurant is located in an old mill in a beautiful valley with hiking trails, which alone makes the walk or drive there worthwhile.
